Successful organizations have high quality, motivated and passionate leaders. According to leaders participating in a global leadership poll in 2011, a top-performing leader will outperform an average leader by 50%.

When leaders reported their organization’s current leadership quality as poor, only 6% were in organizations that outperformed their competition in bottom-line metrics. Where leadership is rated excellent, 78% were in organizations that outperformed their competition.  Companies are missing an opportunity to significantly improve profitability by not developing their new and existing leaders.  

Leadership quality affects more than the bottom-line. It also affects employee retention and engagement. 

Organizations with higher quality leadership are up to three times more likely to retain more employees than their competition.  People want to come to work, to be successful, and successful leaders inherently make employees successful. 

Passionate leaders are defined as those who bring their full energy to their work, proactively make decisions and add value, and act with a sense of ownership. Operationally, if a leader can impact the performance of an individual by over 25%, how much will the leaders dispassionate viewpoint affect that individual? When an organization has high quality leadership, those organizations have more than five times the number of highly engaged leaders.
